Problem
While Learning Commons designed as large open spaces are capable of supporting individual, small, and large group activities, further articulation of the areas within the larger space is sometimes necessary to accommodate the diversity of activities these group sizes require. Structure is important, and anchoring a flexible space with fixtures, materials, and tools sparks learning.
Solution
Creative Kiosks are small, mobile occupiable units that can be nested within large spaces such as Learning Commons. As mobile units that can also house a variety of resources, Creative Kiosks make the learning commons more functional and agile. They can be a great addition to project commons and STEM spaces.
