Adam has a passion for creating contemporary learning environments and bringing joy through design. A Senior Designer at Fielding, he brings a range of expertise to his work having been a leader on a variety of projects at many scales, from master planning to school design.

Adam has a curious spirit, empathy, and passion for discovering what is unique about each school and community he works with in an effort to design spaces and solutions that support their specific needs. He believes that a successful project is a recipe of many ingredients, including strong collaboration with the client, understanding local ethos, supporting a school’s educational philosophy, designing to all human senses, and providing impactful user experiences through design.

Adam has worked with schools around the world, including Singapore American School, the International School of Düsseldorf in Germany, Ballarat Grammar School in Australia, and NIST International School in Thailand. He has also served as a Project Manager, most recently for Emerald Elementary School in Colorado, a school that received a A4LE Design Award in 2017.

Adam graduated with a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland at College Park.

His interest in cultures around the world began early with opportunities to travel extensively in college where he studied abroad in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Italy. Adam also spends time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and teaching middle school students about architecture.

When not traveling, you’ll find Adam finding joy in anything nature.
