Our Purpose

We exist to make the world better by improving environments for learning. As an interdisciplinary team of architects and educators, we partner with school organizations to design learning spaces and experiences that promote student agency, enrich well-being, and cultivate authentic learning communities. With nearly two decades of award-winning education projects across 50+ countries, we remain deeply committed to reimagining the future of education alongside the communities we serve.

About Us

Fielding International (formerly Fielding Nair International) is a global leader in education planning and architectural design. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota—and with locations in Maryland, Michigan, Rhode Island, and Singapore—we have provided consulting services to local, regional and national governments, public school districts, private schools,  international schools, and other educational clients since 2003.

What We Do

We create tailored education design using a thoughtful interdisciplinary engagement process—our architects, designers, and educators impact every phase of the project. We help our clients to envision and design innovative schools that support student-centered learning. The environments we design form both a continuum in our exploration of learning, and also a unique expression of our school partners and their missions.

We have worked on over $10 billion worth of schools and won 15+ international planning and design awards for excellence.
