Our Expertise
Learner’s Representative
We advocate for learner’s needs to thrive (students and adults), guiding the work of other consultants.
At Fielding International, we understand that the most important stakeholders in any educational environment are the learners themselves. Our Learner’s Representative service acts as an advocate for the needs of all learners, ensuring that every decision made by a school or district is rooted in their best interests.
Just as an Owner’s Representative protects the interests of the project owner, a Learner’s Representative champions the interests of the learners. We help schools and districts “set the dials” on design, planning, and educational strategies to ensure they are aligned with a future-ready vision that benefits every student.

The Questions We Ask
To ensure that every decision is made in the best interests of learners, we focus on key questions such as:
- What is the vision for the future of learning at this school?
- How do current and future plans align with this vision?
- How do design and space impact the learning experience and opportunities for all students?
- What are the specific needs and goals of the students and educators, and how can they be met through strategic planning and design?
Our process begins with a comprehensive visioning session, where we collaborate with school leaders, educators, and other key stakeholders to clearly define and align on the school’s vision. We then work closely with design and project teams to ensure that every decision supports this vision and enhances the learning environment.
As the Learner’s Representative, we serve as both a strategic advisor and a critical advocate, continually asking the tough questions and providing a learner-centered perspective that guides every stage of the project—from planning and design to implementation and beyond.
