She excels in organizational and analytic skills, demonstrating a strong attention to detail in organizing and executing strategic learning design projects. She observes and analyzes data meticulously to ensure quality learning design and successful project implementation, leading to systematic change. As a compassionate leader, coach, and consultant, Erin prioritizes cross-functional collaboration, offering optimism, humor, and gratitude to ensure everyone is seen and heard. Her ability to motivate and influence is driven by a core value of curiosity, fostering shared interest, inquiry, and ownership. Erin has demonstrated exceptional leadership. She exceeded expectations in the Leadership Investment Framework for Talent in Denver Public Schools (DPS) and was recognized as a Distinguished Educator for Leading Effective Academic Practice. Additionally, she was selected as a Poetry Coach for the America SCORES National Poetry SLAM held at the Apollo Theater.
Erin most recently served as Strategy Project Manager for Denver Public Schools, where she collaborated with leadership to drive large-scale projects and initiatives aligned with the district’s strategic roadmap, impacting approximately 89,000 students. Her initiatives included managing the Community Leadership Course, DPS Coaching, Leadership Investment Framework for Talent Reframing, Engagement & Environmental Justice, and the development of the 5-year DPS Climate Action Plan. She also oversaw Summer Professional Learning, High-Quality Instructional Materials Engagement, Exceptional Student Services strategy development, and supported projects such as the Office of Academics Instructional Frame, Leadership Week, and professional learning for new educators.
Erin holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Instructional Design & Technology from the American College of Education in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a Certificate in Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado in Denver, and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education, with concentrations in General Science and Language Arts, from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She also holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and has pursued continued studies in Visual Art at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado.
She is certified in Change Management by Prosci and has a Project Management Diploma from Alison. Erin also earned a certificate in Storytelling for Influence from IDEO. Her coaching qualifications include Cognitive Coaching from the Public Education and Business Coalition (PEBC), the Art of Coaching from Bright Morning, and Relay Coaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education. Additionally, she holds professional teaching certifications in both Michigan and Colorado.
