Shikang is an Associate Designer with Fielding International. He graduated with a Master of Science in Architecture from Columbia.

He focuses on parametric design. His constant research and application allowed him to have a more mature understanding and control of the relation between parameters and space, and to develop a way of thinking that is sensitive to the logic of space generation. In his design, he has also been trying to apply parametric methodology more fundamentally to the deconstruction and reconstruction of space.

In addition, he is also passionate about exploring space itself and studying the connection between space and human psychology and behavior. He believes that architecture can convey information and shape perceptions through its own characteristics. And schools are the best place to capture this idea.
