Zack graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in 2017.
For him, helping to transform and design contemporary learning environments feels like the natural extension and application of an undergrad experience, which instilled in him the power of a design practice centered on empathy for all variety of life forms. This paved a trajectory towards improving these lives, which to him now involves: teaming with fellow designers, communities, and trades, to help uncover a community’s spatial needs and vision; and together realizing the practical, imaginative spaces that offer a warm invitation to the most helpful and inspiring interactions and engagements of the senses.
Zack was first involved with Fielding International and the benefit corporation Equity Schools, as a design consultant on the reimagining of the Academy of Warren. Assisting and bridging the two teams through the final stages of this project brought him great joy and experience.
As of 2022, he is now a full-time team member at Fielding, assisting on the Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County (New Jersey), as well as the Latham Centers Community Center (Brewster, Massachusetts). He is very excited to be working alongside wonderfully gifted, forward-thinking designers.
In his free time, Zack enjoys writing/listening to music, traveling, nature and learning.
