All over the world, more outdoor learning comes up as a top goal for both youth and adults. Prioritization for embedding creative and artistic programming is also on the rise. Unfortunately, the lack of outdoor learning elements often means kids only go outside for things like recess and physical education.
When outdoor spaces are seen as full of life and creative energy, it changes the dynamic of an entire campus. Murals, sculptures, interactive galleries, student-made benches, performance areas can bring outdoor spaces alive, and create reasons to bring learning experiences outdoors, as well.
