She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University. Throughout her academic journey, Sydney has cultivated a deep appreciation for incremental and environmentally conscious design practices, with a particular interest in adaptive reuse and educational environments.

Joining Fielding with her professional and educational experience, Sydney brings a dynamic blend of expertise and enthusiasm, particularly in the realm of school design. Her commitment to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Outstanding Graduate Student Project Award at the Michigan Association of Planning’s 2021 Planning Excellence Awards, where she was part of a team recognized for their contributions to accelerating climate action in India. Additionally, Sydney’s design prowess has been celebrated with awards such as the First Place Award for the Knowlton School Gui Studio Competition and recognition from the Knowlton School Student Archives for her studio designs. Notably, she is a two-time recipient of the Knowlton School Student Studio Award and has completed a rigorous six-week European Architecture Studies abroad course.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sydney finds deep fulfillment in advocating for early childhood education. Her passion for creating environments that inspire creativity, exploration, and learning is evident in her work and personal endeavors. In her free time, she can often be found attending comedy shows and live music events, indulging her passion for drawing and painting, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. An avid lover of the outdoors, Sydney enjoys engaging in watersports and attending sporting events. However, above all else, she cherishes spending quality time with her friends and family.
